I have had some kind of camera in my hand since I was very young, be it disposable, film or digital. I have always enjoyed photography and taking pictures but did not realize how much of a passion it would become until I moved to Chicago. With the help of social media I started to meet up with local photographers and photograph the city and the people in it. This is also how I met Lucio.
I love to document every moment with my camera. Even during COVID, when weddings and events were almost nonexistent, Lucio and I went out to photograph the quiet city. Looking back at those photos now, it seems so surreal. But they still evoke emotion and memories of that time. Photos can be so powerful in that way.
This is the same experience I want our couples to have when looking back at their wedding photos. I believe that each photo should hold the power to make you instantly relive the moment as you look at your photographs. Each happy, wonderful moment.
Lucio
I picked up my first professional camera in 2010 not knowing that it was stepping stone to something bigger. Picking up my first professional camera was just for fun. I started by taking pictures of cars and also of Chicago. Being a local native of Chicago I wanted to share his experiences within the city.
As time passed I was noticed by car owners and enjoyed my passion of taking pictures. Which opened the doors to me getting my first publication at RPM magazine. I was in disbelief and never in my wildest dreams did I ever think of ever getting published. Not only was I able to get a spread in the magazine but I was able to get the cover page. I wasn’t aware of the cover page until one day before the publication. I couldn’t believe my eyes but I knew that this perhaps may be a calling to something bigger.
After being published more people started taking notice of my work which led to something I never would have considered. Weddings! I took a chance on shooting my first wedding in 2015 and I was hooked. As time passed I took on more weddings and more events. To this day I am just as excited to shoot weddings as if it was my first.
